Make room in your closet!

The household linen category is vast and can be overwhelming, but I’m here to guide you through this beautiful world of textiles. You might be interested to learn that linens can touch every room in your home, so investing in a properly stocked linen closet could be a game-changer.

Let’s start with the main categories: bedroom linens, bathroom linens, kitchen linens, and table linens. Each has its own subcategories, textiles, designs, thread counts, etc. However, in this post, we’ll give a general overview and introduce you to some of my favorite sources for purchasing these items. Maybe in the future, we can dive deeper into each category? After all, who doesn’t love more details, especially when it comes to home essentials?

Bedroom Linens

This is probably the category most people are already familiar with. Here, we’re talking about bed sheets, pillowcases, comforters, duvet covers, throws, and eiderdowns. Two of my favorite brands for bedroom linens are Boll & Branch and Cultiver —both offer gorgeous options that can elevate your space.

Bathroom Linens

For bathroom linens, you’ll want towels, bath mats, and even shower curtains. If you're looking for basics, Zara Home has you covered, while AnthroLiving is perfect if you want to inject some fun patterns into your bathroom.

Kitchen Linens

Kitchen linens may not always have the same "wow" factor as some other categories, but they’re just as important. From towels to aprons, there are plenty of options out there. For high-quality pieces, I love Williams Sonoma . If you're looking to save a bit, Home Goods and World Market both offer great, budget-friendly options.

Table Linens

Table linens are probably my favorite category (maybe because I love hosting so much!). If you're into dinner parties or casual gatherings, a beautiful tablecloth or set of napkins can really set the tone. A few of my favorite brands for table linens are Les Collection, Studio Ford, and Hawkins New York.

So, whatever linens you’re in need of—whether it’s all of them!—make some room in your closet, grab a few sets of tablecloths and bed sheets, and get ready to transform your home with the beauty of textiles.
